Anthony Alumni

The final Nolen offspring became a TAS alum this past May. I had forgotten how spectacular it is to watch our recent graduates assimilate to high school with such aplomb. Leaving with up to three high school credits, they are so ready for the academic pathways that lie ahead. You know this to be true, obviously, as you are (or have) a TAS alum. It has been equally wonderful watching our alums come back to visit the campus - to either earn service hours, attend events (family fun night, hoopfest, chili cookoff, middle school play, spring fundraiser) or even work! Four TAS graduates are on staff here, and this past summer boasted an entire staff of Anthony alums. All that to say: “COME BACK AND VISIT US!” Read on to learn how.

Ready for some fall weather? We are ready for basketball, chili, and fall weather fun! We'd love to see our alumni back on our campus. Olivia Chambers (TAS Class of 2017, Mount St. Mary Class of 2021) competed in the Paralympic swimming events in Paris in late August/early September. The Anthony School faculty, staff, and students enjoyed learning more about the Paralympics - and cheered on Olivia! Olivia and her mom heard that TAS students were watching her - and NBC asked if they could capture some footage of our watch party (it was for Olivia's 200 IM race). Bella Angtuaco (TAS Class of 2021, Mount St. Mary Class of 2025) has earned recognition as a National Merit Semifinalist. Click here to read the full article from Mount St. Mary. Congratulations, Bella!

Addy Batcheller (TAS Class of 2021, Central High School Class of 2025) has earned recognition as a National Merit Commended Scholar. Click here to read the full article from the Little Rock School District. Congratulations, Addy!

Addy also qualified and competed in Traverse City, Michigan at the 2024 FEI North American Youth Championships for Region 9 in dressage (Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas) this past summer. Addy's team came home with a bronze medal after competing against teams from all over North America. Jackson Wolfe (TAS Class of 2021, Catholic High School Class of 2025) led the Catholic High School Rocket Golf Team to secure the 6A Conference and State Championships. ParentCrew hosted Family Fun Night on October 8, and we had a great turnout of families! One of the best parts? We reached out to several TAS alum that attend local high schools and asked them to volunteer to help with the hayride and carnival-type booths in the gym. ParentCrew was thrilled to have the extra hands, and we were thrilled to have our alumni back on campus! Do you want to help with future events? Reach out to Melissa or Shana and let us know!
