A Note from the Principal
Dear Pentucket Students and Families,
As we head into May, I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible effort our students are putting in across all areas of school life. From MCAS testing to AP exams, and from the classroom to the stage, fields, and clubs, our students are balancing a great deal—and doing so with respect, resilience, and Panther Pride.
Thank you to all of our students for your hard work and determination. Your commitment to your academics, your teams, and your extracurricular pursuits does not go unnoticed. It’s impressive to see how many of you are stepping up, supporting one another, and representing Pentucket with integrity.
As always, thank you to our staff and families for your continued support. Let’s keep the momentum going as we move closer to the end of the year.
Sincerely,

Local Biologist Brings Science to Life for 7th Grade Students
This week the students of the 7th grade had the pleasure of hearing from a young, local wildlife biologist. Dominic Noce, a native of Haverhill, spoke to the students about his experiences putting the science we are currently learning about in the classroom, to use in the field. Dominic spoke of his time in Africa studying big cats. He showed the students how they put tracking devices on the animals and kept data on what they ate. He also spoke about his time in Glacier National Park and how they collected hair samples of bears to get their DNA. One of the best things he was able to share with the students was how he got into this work in the first place. The students were fascinated by his experiences and asked lots of valuable questions.

25th Anniversary Celebration of Cafe Jazz - 5/9
You are invited to share in a very special 25th anniversary celebration of Cafe Jazz on Friday, May 9th at 7pm in the PRMHS Dining Commons! We will share the award-winning legacy of this program with performances from over 50 jazz alumni stretching back 25 years to the inception of the program. This will include live performances from those alumni in attendance and video submissions from those who can’t make it in person. We’ll hear from students as they reflect on their time in the Pentucket Jazz program and share their latest adventures in our “where are we now?” video montage, and our grand finale will feature a joint performance of alumni and current students playing music originally programmed on our very first Cafe Jazz in May 2000! We will also have a Pentucket Jazz alumni “LinkTree” available that will give you a single point of access to the websites, social media, and music streaming links of those who have continued to create music of all styles beyond Pentucket. Of course, we’ll have the usual jazz club vibe with complimentary food and refreshments to enjoy throughout the evening. Come mingle with the alumni and enjoy their music. You won’t want to miss this milestone celebration!
