Swenke Elementary is proud to adopt Lieder Elementary! We are excited to partner with them and look forward to sharing our many blessings with their school community. Together, we can make a difference!

Nurse Shannon Jones exemplifies care, dedication, and excellence, making her truly deserving of the Path to Amazing coin! Her compassion, quick thinking, and unwavering support create a safe and nurturing environment for our students. Whether she’s tending to a scraped knee or offering a reassuring smile, she goes above and beyond every day. We are so grateful for all she does!

I’m thrilled to share some exciting news — TWO Swenke students earned a spot in the Top 200 (out of the entire Greater Houston area!) in this year’s 3rd Grade Creativity Contest for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo!

A big thank you to Shawna Beck, our HLSR committee member, who visited Swenke today to present these talented students with their ribbons and free grounds passes to the Rodeo!

Attention all incoming Kindergarteners for the 2025-2026 school year! Join us for a fun-filled event at Swenke on April 16th from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. There will be exciting activities planned just for you, plus a chance to explore the building and get to know your new school.

The Superintendent's Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, March 29. Don't forget — every dollar goes right back to the kids through scholarships! I just registered, have you?

In addition to our qualified pre-K program, we now offer a tuition-based pre-K option, providing even more families access to our exceptional early childhood education. Registration opens March 31.
