Principal's Message
Dear Sabre families,
I hope everyone had a nice Labour Day weekend and are looking forward to a pleasant few days of warm weather ahead.
Many beautiful moments resonated with staff since the start of our student registration in late August. To share one, our Grade 11 and 12 students were so welcoming and helpful to our Grade 10’s who were busy navigating their new surroundings. This is an excellent example of shared leadership at Sal - in regard to ‘looking out for one another’.
This week brings us to a shortened week but will allow our students to become more established and comfortable into the routine of a new school year.
Stay tuned next week for the specific dates of our first Parent Council meeting and how you can become involved and informed.
Also, pencil your calendar for Parent Teacher Interviews for our first quarter on September 28, 2020. More information will come in next week’s edition on specifics as to process and how to sign up.
One aspect at Sal that we are being mindful and intentional is with understanding that our connections and relationships with stakeholders are pivotal. Therefore, an emphasis and recognition that our ‘support team needs a support team’ will be highlighted in our resource of the week for families.
