Transportation Information
General Transportation Information & Bus Routes
NEISD Transportation information is available in one click! Find out pick up and drop off times, as well as your child's bus route or closest bus stop.
CTEC & iCSI Transportation
CTEC and iCSI students should report to the Roosevelt Library for the first day of school. There will be no transportation to the CTEC or iCSI Programs on the first day of school. Attendance will be taken in the library and an orientation will be conducted. During the school year, bus pick up and drop off will be in the front bus circle
Attention Bus Riders!!!
Smart passes are to be given out by your bus driver throughout the first weeks of school. Students will be given one free replacement, all replacements after the first will be $2.00. For any questions about buses or Smart passes, please go to the AP Office.

Parking and Pick-up/Drop-Off Reminders
Parking
Student Parking-Tickets will be issued starting on 9/3/2024
Students driving to school can park in the student parking lot located across the street from the football fields on Ray Bon. Parking passes can be purchased from the AP Office for $30, with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Students should not park in the Trufit or shopping center across from Roosevelt. Your car may be subjected to be towed if you park in this area.
Parent Parking
Parents, please park in the designated visitors parking lot next to the tennis courts. Do not leave your car unattended in the parent pick-up or bus loop.
Pick-up Reminders
Student Parking Lot
Students using the student parking lot, please look both ways before crossing Ray Bon. All students need to use the crossing between the parking lot and the football field. Report any suspicious activities to the AP Office.
Parent Pick-up/Drop Off
Parents, please do not park on Ray Bon or other traffic lanes. Please use the parent Pick-up/Drop-Off area. These areas are monitored to make sure your student is safe on campus. Please drive with caution on Ray Bon and watch for students crossing.
Closed Campus
Our campus is a closed campus. Students are not to leave campus without being signed out by a parent/guardian in the office. Failure to comply with this directive may result in disciplinary action by administration.

When Katy Philbrick attended Roosevelt High School as a student, the Design and Technology Academy (DATA) had just opened its doors. She didnβt pay it much attention at the time, and certainly never thought she would one day join the program as a teacher.
Household Income Survey
The Household Income Survey helps to ensure that Roosevelt HS is properly funded. Please take a moment watch the short informational video found in the hyperlink and complete the survey when it is sent to you via text or hardcopy.
Cafeteria Information
Each student at Roosevelt High School will receive one free breakfast and one free lunch in the 2024-2025 school year. Any additional breakfasts or lunches will be charged to the student. Students without adequate funds will not be allowed to purchase extra items or meals.
Students are asked to have their IDs ready to be scanned by the cashier for quick check-out in the cafeteria lines. Thank you in advance!

Picture Day for 9th-11th grade
Students will be taking their photos here on campus October 30th, 31st, and November 1st. Please remind your child to not wear a costume on Halloween if they haven't taken their photo on the 30th. Retakes will be on January 9th.

Senior Portraits
Seniors will be taking their Cap and Gown Photos on October 17-18th in the auditorium. Cap and gown will be provided for students including any stoles. Senior retakes are January 8th. Please contact Lifetouch for any questions on pricing.
Senior Release ID
Seniors that have Senior Release need to make sure they have their ID to exit campus after 6th period. If you do not have the special Senior Release ID, please visit the AP Office during your lunch or 7th/8th period to get one created. Only Seniors with Senior Release on their schedule will receive these special IDs.
Senior Release Students are not allowed anywhere on campus, this includes the library during their release time. Students are allowed to ask for a pass with a specific teacher for tutoring.

Melissa Mendiola is Roosevelt's Family Engagement Specialist. She is available to assist with any needs or issues in a student's home life that can negatively affect a student's ability to excel at school. She is able to provide support and services for all students and their families, creating a true connection between home, school, and community. The family specialist's role is to bridge the gap of communication between parents, the school, and the community and provide resources to families who are experiencing barriers, and to empower all parents to fulfill their role as childβs first teacher.
