Dealey Dragons,
What a fun filled week full of celebrations, recognitions, dedications, and wonderful memories. Thank you so much for working alongside me this year. I am grateful for the support you have shown to make Dealey a stronger, better, and positive place for our students.
When changes occur, I would like to keep you all in the loop. Beginning next year, the entire district (elementary/middle school) will be utilizing a new curriculum for reading and math. This means there will be no more district written powerpoints, Go Math, and other curriculums, etc.
We are also having conversations about how this curriculum will be best supported in the Montessori environment.
Curriculum Grade Bands
- Amplify Reading/Language Arts K - 8
- Eureka Math K - 5
- Carnegie Math 6 - Algebra II
We are clearing out our book room for these new curriculum items. Ms. Schneider has placed items near the gym for students and parents to take as they please. If you would like to pick up more resources for summer support, please reach out to Ms. Schneider.
