District Update - May 31
Superintendent's Message
It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the end of another successful school year! From Academic Achievement Night to sixth-grade camp, and from the Class of 2024 commencement ceremony to elementary field days and preschool graduation - our year-end activities certainly created lasting memories for all involved.
As we kick off summer break, many of us are excitedly anticipating the adventures and experiences awaiting us in the upcoming months. Whatever your plans may entail, I wish you and your family a safe and happy season.
Throughout the year, our district remained dedicated to nurturing each student's academic potential. We continued our commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and empowered. Our focus on STEM education is unwavering, our students actively engage with the community, our extracurricular programs cater to diverse interests, and we emphasize our values of being Ready, Responsible, and Respectful.
A school district is a collection of people who care, and Midview has proven over and over again to be a district that will go to great lengths to support our students. I would like to extend my gratitude to our teachers, staff, families, and community for their unwavering support, generosity of their time, and commitment to ensuring the success of all Middie learners.
While it is sad to say goodbye – even for a short time – I hope you begin this summer excited by the possibilities the future holds for Midview, our students, and our community.
We encourage you to stay connected by visiting the Midview Local Schools website and social media platforms regularly. And, if you have any questions about the upcoming school year, please feel free to contact the Midview Local Schools Board of Education at 440-748-5353.
Take care,
Dr. Willingham

A Winning Season Starts with a Free Sports Physical
Students are working hard to prepare for the coming season. But they'll need a sports physical before they can take the field. Make plans to get your child a physical at the Center for Orthopedics sports physical event. The examination is quick, easy, and (best of all) free. Read this article for more information about registering.
