Message from Bob Carnaroli
Dear Raider Nation,
As we wrap up this semester, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and invaluable feedback. Together, we’ve achieved so much, and it’s been a truly rewarding semester filled with accolades and successes across all areas.
Your dedication to fostering a positive environment for your student is evident in their growth and achievements. Let’s continue focusing on the small but essential habits that contribute to success—consistent attendance, punctuality, hard work, and daily preparation. These foundational practices make a significant difference in current and future success for all.
Thank you again for being such an integral part of our school community. Here’s to an even more successful semester ahead! I hope all you all have a wonderful holiday and break.
Bob Carnaroli

Parent Feedback Survey
Parents, please take a few minutes to answer some questions on our school that will help us get even better. Your feedback is critical to our growth and success.
The Georgia Department of Education (GA DOE) requires all public schools to participate in the Georgia School Climate Survey. To see the DOE information website click here. FCS values parent feedback, and all FCS schools utilize this survey feedback in the school improvement process.
Please provide feedback by completing the Georgia School Climate Survey. The link to the survey for sch.name can be accessed by clicking here.
Thank you
Bob Carnaroli

Class of 2025 – Senior Information
Information about upcoming senior events, senior dues, and graduation information can be found on the NFHS website. Please click “Extracurricular” and then “Senior Class News”. You can also follow us for updates on Instagram @nfhs_seniors. We also post important information for seniors on the Class of 2025 Counseling Website.
Senior Dues: All payments must be made online at https://www.3rdascent.com. Pricing will be $160 until December 31st, 2024. On January 1st, dues will increase to $175 and incur a late fee. Dues cover the cost of the graduation cap/gown, diploma/diploma cover, senior breakfast, senior picnic, rental of the arena, and other special treats. Seniors will be able to pick up their cap/gown before the senior picnic on April 23rd.
College Applications: October 15th is a common application deadline for many students. Students needing a recommendation letter from their counselor were instructed to do so at least two weeks in advance. in addition, they should submit their senior resume which can be found on the class of 2025 page. While student deadlines are posted as a specific date, school counselors typically have more time to submit supplemental materials. Please understand that we have a large quantity of requests, and they will be submitted by OUR deadline, even if it is after the student deadline.
Graduation: Please note that graduation is on Tuesday, May 20th at 7PM at Gas South Arena. Once the portal for graduation announcements has opened, we will share that through the newsletter for families to order.
Senior Letters: We will start collecting Senior Letters in January 2025 through April and they can be delivered to the front office or the counseling office. We will send out more concrete information soon but wanted to give families a heads up that we will be offering this special opportunity for parents, grandparents, friends, teachers, and former teachers to write to their seniors again this year. We always recommend that parents send out a message to individuals that have made an impact in their senior's life to ask if they would be willing to write a letter. Seniors will get the opportunity to open letters with their friends at the end of the year during a Senior Sunset event in May.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Liz Smith.

Toys for Tots Drive Success We are thrilled to share the incredible results of our annual Toys for Tots drive, which concluded this past Monday. The outpouring of support from our MCJROTC families and cadets has been nothing short of remarkable. This year, we not only met our goals but exceeded them, collecting even more toys than last year. Each donated gift represents hope, joy, and the true spirit of the holiday season for children in our community who might otherwise go without. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to every parent who supported this initiative and to our cadets who dedicated their time and energy to making this drive a success. Your commitment to community service and giving back is truly inspiring. While we played a small part, we know that each toy we collect has the power to brighten a child's Christmas and bring a moment of pure happiness during the holiday season. Thank you for your continued support and generosity. Wreaths Across America A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated cadets who volunteered their time for this noble cause. Your commitment to honoring our heroes means much to our veterans! Wreaths Across America seeks to remember, honor, and teach the next generation that the freedoms we enjoy in our great country came at a great cost. Let’s continue to spread the love and gratitude!
