In Leander ISD, we believe students receive a quality education regardless of the campus they attend; however, we understand there are circumstances when a parent may desire for their child to attend a school other than the campus they are currently assigned.

The transfer window for currently enrolled students is now open. The window will be open March 1st, 2025 and remain open until March 31st, 2025. We will only accept transfer requests using our online application through Edpay. If parents or students have concerns or questions about their current campus, please contact your school’s administration for support.

Book Fair Hours:

7:10am-7:30am: Monday - Friday

2:45pm-3:15pm: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday

5:15pm-6:30pm: Wednesday (Learning Under the Stars Nights)

Come enjoy our Learning Under the Stars Night on Wednesday, March 12th! We will have several fun educational activities for you and your entire family to enjoy together in different classrooms. This event is in conjunction with the Book Fair. Plus PTA will provide FREE Pizza that will be served in the cafeteria while supplies last.

The 2025 annual LISD District-Wide Art Show is just around the corner!

The art show is a free come-and-go event and will take place from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Vandegrift High School, located at 9500 McNeill Drive in Austin. Students who have artwork featured in the show will be sent home a flyer the week before spring break.

If you are unable to attend, the artwork will be featured again at the Naumann talent show that will be taking place in early April!

Career Day Volunteer Opportunity!

We are currently looking for volunteers to help monitor students during lunch from 10:40-1:20. This is a wonderful opportunity to engage with our students and support our staff. Please note that all volunteers must be approved and will work alongside our dedicated lunch monitor.

The Austin PBS KIDS Writers Showcase is looking for amazing stories written and illustrated by amazing kids. Each story will be published on their website and every kid will receive a certificate! A selection of writers will receive prizes and be invited to our Writers Showcase event!
