OJH's Got Talent
The OJH Talent Show was Jan. 19, and it was a spectacular night of fun! Congratulations to Owen Heimann for winning the Audience Choice Award for playing the guitar and singing "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters, and to Sheridan DeBow for her performance of "Used to be Mine" from the musical "Waitress" earning her the Judges Choice Award!
Compliment Day
South students are learning the importance of compliments. Fourth graders in Ms. Wilberding's class created drawings with Mrs. Mansker's kindergarten class. The fourth graders then wrote compliments on the pictures and let the kindergarten students keep them! The kindergarten students then gave the fourth grade students pictures they colored.
OMS Storm Shelter
Ozark Middle School students and staff are excited about the new storm shelter! Office staff are moving in and students are getting the grand tour. Students and parents should be able to enter through the new front doors next week!
Photo Dump
Did you know all of our schools have their own Facebook pages? There are so many cool things happening across our District everyday … and we can’t put all those photos on the District FB page! These are from West, Tiger Paw, South and East.
We’re not going to tell you what’s happening in these photos, but you can find the details on the school's Facebook pages!
ACTIVITIES & ATHLETICS
Rifle Teams Takes 1st
A massive congrats to Ozark's JROTC rifle team who recently placed first at Missouri State 3PAR Championship! Ozark's precision team took home the championship and the sporter team took home second place. Individuals also walked away with some new hardware. Cadet Daniel placed first and Cadet Wells took second! Congrats Tigers on your awesome season. We are so proud of all your hard work!
COC Champions!
Congratulations to our girls' swim and dive team who are the new COC champions! They are the first Ozark girls swim and dive team to win the COC championship in school history since it became a COC sanctioned sport. We are so proud of them!
