THIS WEEK AT MINSHEW!
MESSAGE FROM MRS. LARRIVIERE
Minshew Families-
Friday was such a fun day! We started the morning with Colt Round-Up. Some of the McKinney Boyd cheerleaders and football team joined us for the morning and made the Round-Up even more fun! (Special shout-out to Boyd Head Football Coach Foster for bringing the school spirit to the carpool line and to the teacher competition!) Friday evening was fun to have so many families come out for our Minshew Tailgate and Minshew night at the Boyd football game. Thank you to all of the parents (and our fabulous secretary, Miriam Richert) for helping us with a successful tailgate. We were able to host this family event from funds raised from our recent Big Kahuna fundraiser.
As we move into the second quarter of the year, please remember that the most important way you can support your child’s academic success is to have them read at home every night. You can read to them or they can read to you or independently, it doesn’t matter! Reading is reading!
Thank you for continuing to support our wonderful school.
Go Colts!
