Mason Moose Minutes Sept 20th!
Teamwork it is! One Mason, One Family, One Team!
Together we learn, together we lift, and together we lead!
Message from the Principal
Dearest Mason Families,
As we reach the end of our first three weeks of school, I am extremely proud of how our students are displaying their best Mason selves. They are reflecting on who they are, the choices they make, and their immense potential. It is inspiring to see their growth and commitment already to excellence each day.
As we forge our way into the school year, one focus will be on helping students set meaningful goals. We will work with them as a class and individually to set these goals, understand what it takes to achieve them, and monitor their progress. This process will help our students take ownership of their learning and celebrate their achievements along the way!
I'm thrilled to announce that the PTO Annual Fun Run fundraiser kicks off on Monday, September 23. This fundraiser is a wonderful opportunity for our students to get active and have fun while raising important funds for our school. More information will be provided by our PTO, and we are so thankful for our PTO members and the entire community for supporting our Mason family. Your support truly makes a difference in enhancing the educational experiences of our students.
Looking ahead to next week, the entire Mason family will participate in our annual Evacuation Drill from Mason Elementary to Parcells Middle School on Friday, September 27, at 9 a.m. This drill is a critical part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our students.
Mason's whole school practice evacuation drill will take place shortly after arrival at 9 a.m., so we kindly ask that all students arrive on time by 8:20 a.m. If your student is arriving late, please keep them with you until we send an update communication that students are back in class. We also ask that you do not come to school or call the office during the drill, so our staff and public safety officers can remain focused on the drill and our students’ safety. Please plan ahead, as students cannot be released for appointments during the drill. We will notify you once the drill is complete and students are safely back in class.
Thank you for partnering with us to provide a safe and secure learning environment for our students. Together, we are building a community where every child can thrive. As always, Teamwork it is! One Mason, One Family, and One Team!

GPPSS Transportation Information
Board Policy provides for transportation services to all eligible students attending the school serviced by their attendance boundary. A student who lives beyond 1½ miles from the resident elementary school is considered eligible for transportation services. Board Policy does not allow bus transportation for In-District Transfers; you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from school.
We understand that not all students who are eligible for Transportation Services will choose to take advantage of those services; therefore, in order to create the most efficient bus routes, it is critical for us to know which eligible students will be riding the bus. You will not be scheduled to receive transportation services if you do not submit this form. Please fill out one form per child.
