Senior Project News
On Wednesday, April 9th, seniors will have a Senior Project workday that will coincide with juniors taking the SAT's. Seniors who have passed all of their checkpoints should use this day to make progress on their projects and can work from home or a place of their choosing; students who have not passed all three checkpoints will be required to attend school so that they can work on their project with assistance from Souhegan faculty. Students will need to have a āPā in PowerSchool by Tuesday at 3:00pm to work from home on this day.
Their next and final panel meeting will be Thursday, May 8th after school. By this point students' senior projects should be complete except for their Public Exhibition.
Senior Project Public Exhibitions will take place on Thursday, May 29, and Friday, May 30. Parents must notify the Senior Project coordinators about possible scheduling conflicts by completing this form by next Friday April 11th.

What is your role at Souhegan?
Math Teacher on Team 9A
How long have you been with Souhegan?
This is my 2nd year at Souhegan!
What do you love about your job?
I love having an opportunity to build connections with students and support them throughout their learning process. At Souhegan, I also love being able to collaborate with some of the most inspiring and supportive colleagues a teacher could ask for! However, my favorite part of being a high school teacher is watching the growth and transformation of students over their 4 years and learning about the great things they accomplish after graduation.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids. We love camping and just being outdoors in general. I also enjoy golfing (although my skills still need some work), gardening, and reading.
If you were given one wish what would it be?
I would wish for the ability to pause time, giving me a chance to spend more of it with my family and friends, and allowing me to slow down and live in the moment more often.
Do you have a favorite quote or mantra?
"The greatest teacher, failure is." - Yoda
