Dear Primary Parents,
As flu season spikes around here, please keep in mind, the following:
Per CDC Communicable Disease for Schools and Childcare:
Fever is a temperature of 100* F or higher. Measure temperature when there are no fever suppressing medication are given.
In other words, your child needs to be fever free for 24 hours without Tylenol or Motrin.
Our school hours are 7:25-3:40. Our car line opens at 6:45am daily. Student attendance is taken at 9:30 am daily, please keep this in mind when making appointments. A student must be here at 9:30 am to be counted present for the day. A student may only miss 15 school days total for the year (excused or unexcused.)

Carnation Order Form- Check your child's folder for form!
Valentine’s Day Carnation Order Form NEW for 2025! Primary and Intermediate deliveries ONLY.
JH & HS - Carnations sold during lunches.
Please print clearly in ink; each card will be attached to the delivery. Carnations will be delivered on February 13th.
Please return forms on or before 2/4/2025. Late orders will not be accepted once forms are collected from campuses on February 5, 2025.
For the student RECEIVING the carnation(s), include the FIRST AND LAST name, homeroom teacher/room number and indicate Primary or Intermediate. Deliveries will not be made to JH or HS students. Students at the JH and HS can purchase carnations during all lunches on February 13th, while supplies last.
Include cash or a check(payable to LVHS) for the total due - $1 per carnation. Please send the exact amount for the order since change is not available.

Valentine's Day
Valentine's celebrations will happen in the classrooms at the end of the day on Thursday, February 13. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have questions. As always, please remember we do NOT take deliveries of balloons, flowers, etc. for students. Enjoy celebrating at home on February 14!
