Heritage Fund Combined Application Help Session Dates
If you have questions about the Heritage Fund Combined Application, come to the LIBRARY during ADVISORY (9:15-9:50am) on January 9 or January 16.
Heritage Fund Andy Critzer Memorial Scholarship & Combined Scholarship Applications
The Heritage Fund Andy Critzer Memorial Scholarship and Combined Scholarship applications are open. There is a NEW system for scholarships this year. Students will need to create a new account even if they have applied for Heritage Fund scholarships in the past.
For the Combined Scholarship, there is a change in the way students apply. Now, students do not have to read each scholarship and mark if they are eligible or not. After they complete the application and submit, they will receive a confirmation with the list of scholarship they are eligible for and the scholarship they need to provide additional information. It is extremely important that they answer all questions and eligibility statements correctly. After the application is submitted, please read the confirmation carefully to see if there is additional information to complete based on the scholarships they are eligible for.
The Combined Scholarship application is also now available for graduating seniors, undergraduate students, graduate students and medical/dental students.
There is a scholarship listing on the application website. You can also search for a scholarship based on field of study, different types of extracurricular activites, etc.
Students will need to complete the SAI (Student Aid Index).
The deadline to submit the Andy Critzer Memorial Scholarship application HFBC Combined application and all required material is Thursday, January 30, 4pm EST.
Patrick Bowman Memorial Music Fund
The online application for the Patrick Bowman Memorial Music Fund is
currently available to U.S. residents up to age 35 pursuing an education or
career in music. Preference will be given to guitar players, songwriters and/or
country music performers whose music most closely aligns with Patrick’s style
of traditional country music.
Applications is available are due at 4 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2024.
Columbus Evening Kiwanis Club Scholarship
This scholarship was originally established by W. Calvert Brand and has grown over time through the fundraising efforts of the Columbus Evening Kiwanis Club. The criteria is as follows:
- graduating senior from Bartholomew County
- Strong scholastic ability and desire to obtain higher education
- financial need
- member of Key Club/demonstration of high level of community service

Indiana Association for College Admission Counseling (INACAC) Scholarship
The Scholarship Committee is proud to announce the INACAC Scholarship Application. The application is open to high school seniors that attend and are planning to enter an Indiana College or University.
Applications for the 2025-26 Scholarship are now being accepted through January 10, 2025.
Scholarships will range from $500 to $1,000, and will be awarded to the students' Freshman year (non-renewable). The award will be paid directly to the school and may be applied to assist with tuition, fees, books, or housing and food.
In order to apply, the student must:
1. Have a completed application.
2. Be a high school senior entering an Indiana College or University.
3. Submit a letter of recommendation.
4. Complete the essay prompt within the application.

Indiana 4 H Scholarships
In partnership with the Indiana 4-H Foundation, the Indiana 4-H Youth Development Program annually awards more than $150,000.00 in scholarships to 4-H members to pursue post-secondary education. Scholarships are awarded to recognize youth participating in Indiana’s 4-H Youth Development Program on their achievements and life skill development resulting from their participation in a variety of 4-H experiences.

INACAC 2025-26 Scholarship Application
The Indiana Association for College Admission Counseling (INACAC) Scholarship is now open! The application is open to high school seniors that attend and are planning to enter an Indiana College or University. Blue & Co, LLC Accounting Scholarship
Blue & Co., LLC would like to offer their scholarship application to the Class of 2025. Blue and Co LLC is the 52nd largest CPA firm in the United States. Applicants must have been accepted to an accredited college or university in the pursuit of an associate or bachelors degree and majoring in accounting.

Forum Credit Union Scholarships
The Foundation awards up to seven, $5,000 collegiate scholarships annually. The collegiate scholarships are eligible for renewal, up to four years, providing recipients with the potential to receive $20,000 over the course of their four-year collegiate experience. One exceptional FORUM Foundation Scholarship applicant who closely exemplifies the qualities of academic excellence and a strong commitment to community service will be eligible for the Jenny Budreau Commitment to Community Scholarship, earning $7,500 per year, renewable for four years, and a total of $30,000.

2025 Indiana Knights of Pythias
The Indiana Knights of Pythias Educational Assistance Program 2025 is now open. There are 30-$1000 scholarships available. Students should use the PUBLIC version of the application unless they are a member of or related to a member of the Knights of Pythias or Pythian Sisters. If they are a member of or related to a member of those two organizations, they should use the PYTHIAN application. To be eligible you must:
- Have a 3.0 GPA
- Fill out or attach the two required (600 words or less) essays.
- Attach a high school transcript
The deadline for submission is January 31, 2025.
The Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship
The Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship provides high-achieving high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in education the opportunity to earn a renewable scholarship of up to $10,000 each year for four academic years. In exchange, students agree to teach for five years at an eligible Indiana school or repay the corresponding, prorated amount of the scholarship.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
- Must be an Indiana resident;
- Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen;
- Must be a current high school senior or college student in Indiana;
- Must have graduated or will graduate from an Indiana accredited high school or non-accredited nonpublic high school;
- Must be able to utilize the scholarship for at least two full academic years;
- Must meet one of the three Academic Requirements:
- Rank in the top 20% of high school graduating class; or
- Have a top 20% ACT or SAT score; or
- Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale;
- Must currently attend or plan to attend an eligible Indiana institution as a full-time student;
- In some cases, degree-seeking students may use the scholarship during the summer while enrolled part-time. Refer to the specific guidelines for using the scholarship during summer terms.
- Must pursue or intend to pursue a course of study that would enable the student to teach at an eligible Indiana school after college graduation;
- Must obtain a license to teach in Indiana and serve as a teacher in an eligible Indiana school for five years after college graduation;
- Must maintain a 3.0/4.0 GPA, complete 30 credit hours per year or their equivalent and meet all other requirements established by their program to renew the scholarship;
- Must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year;
- Must not be in overpayment or default on a federal student loan or grant; and
- Must complete the service requirement or have all funds provided converted to a loan that must be repaid.
**Priority will be given to students graduating high school, although current college freshmen and sophomore students are eligible to apply.
HOW TO APPLY
The Commission for Higher Education will begin accepting Next Generation Hoosier Educator Scholarship applications for the 2025-2026 academic year on October 2, 2024. The application will close on January 31, 2025.
- Please review the 2025-2026 Application Procedures and Academic Requirements prior to applying.
- Submit a complete application in ScholarTrack.
- Submit a complete and clean FAFSA.
- The FAFSA is not required to be filed prior to the application's deadline.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU APPLY
- After the January 31, 2025 deadline passes, the Commission will review all applications and notify all applicants of their scholarship status via email by April 2025.
- Recipients and waitlisted finalists will be provided further instructions via email.

Marian University Scholarship for Education Majors
Beginning in the Fall of 2024, Educators for Tomorrow scholarships will be awarded to all eligible students pursuing education degrees at Marian's Indianapolis and Plymouth campuses.
New first-time, full-time Marian University students pursuing four-year education degrees will receive an automatic 50% tuition discount each year they are enrolled at Marian University’s Fred S. Klipsch Educators College. The new Marian scholarship begins fall of 2024 as students need to be admitted by January 1, 2024.
By awarding the new Educators for Tomorrow scholarships, Marian University hopes to encourage
more students to pursue primary and secondary education degrees, and become teachers. Full-
time students at both Marian’s Indianapolis campus and at Marian University’s Ancilla College
(MUAC) are eligible to receive the 50% tuition discount each year of their college career when they
meet the following criteria:
- Admission to the four-year education program at Klipsch Educators College.
- Have a 3.5 GPA or above at the time of acceptance.
- Declare education as their major at admission and maintain their education major throughout their time at Marian.
Also, Klipsch College offers a five-year program with a one-year residency similar to those at Harvest University and New York University. When choosing this pathway and fulfilling the requirements, you will graduate with both a bachelor's and master's degree in education.
The residency includes a one-year paid teaching and mentoring experience during which you'll receive addition supervised training to connect with students in high-need schools. It includes a paid master's degree PLUS a residency stipend.
Denison University Midwest Scholarship
Denison Midwest Scholarship is open to students who either reside in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan or West Virginia or will graduate from a high school in one of those states and apply by December 1. The Scholarship offers $25,000 per year for each of the student's four years at Denison. If admitted to Denison, the Midwest Scholarship is guaranteed.
Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship Award Application
Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust, Inc. is currently accepting applications.
The Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship is awarded to Indiana high school seniors who have lost a parent to breast cancer or have a parent currently undergoing breast cancer treatment. Named in honor of our founder, Nancy Jaynes, scholarships of up to $2,500 are available to students attending an Indiana college/university or post-secondary technical school.
Scholarship award winners are eligible to apply for continuation scholarships up to three consecutive years.
