March 7, 2025
Principal's Message
π Dear Booth Hill Families,
It's been a busy few weeks Bobcats, but so much fun! We kicked off our week with our BHS Reads, revealing our book, Firefly Hollow! We had an assembly for the big reveal that included a personalized video message from author, Alison McGhee. Bob even surprised the students with a visit to listen to me read the first chapter.
Students have been answering daily trivia and random winners are heading home with a prize! Speaking of winners, Mrs. Conklin was our 8th caller into the office this morning with the correct answer to a special trivia question for one of our bigger prizes. Mrs. Conklin's class won a virtual visit just for her class from Firefly Hollow author, Alison McGhee!
Don't forget to check out our website for pics, trivia, and guest readers! https://bhes.trumbullps.org/academics/bhs-reads
Have a great weekend Bobcats!
Warm regards,
Kevin Chase

The Barnum Festival spans several weeks in an effort to build community spirit, enrich the lives of Bridgeport residents, and give back, culminating in a weekend-long Barnum Palooza that hosts parades, concerts, fireworks, and other family-friendly events. One of the popular events for the children is the Tom Thumb and Lavinia Warren contest.
