Welcome back to the 2023-2024 school year! We hope everyone had a wonderful summer filled with rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation. The Office of Technology is excited for a fulfilling school year ahead. We would like to take this moment to share some technology tips, suggestions, and resources to help kick off the school year successfully.

The more comfortable you feel with technology, the less stressful delivering your content will feel.

• Familiarize yourself with this year's technology.
• Read over faculty and student user policies.
• Don't be afraid to ask questions.
• Reach out to your Technology Coordinators and Technology Integration Specialists.
• Place an IT Work Order through the "Help Desk" if you are having issues with devices.

PowerSchool K-12 Student Information System provides schools with technology to implement district and school operations. If you are having any issues signing in to your account, please contact Jane Franklin or Diana Bolt.

Technology Integration Specialists will be coming to your school to assist all teachers in setting up gradebooks.

It's time to update school websites and individual web pages. Teachers, If you need any assistance with your webpage, contact your school-level Webmaster. Webmasters, if you need any assistance with your school website, contact Vanessa Brown, Shay Atchison, or Barbara Burchard.

Parents and students should sign an Acceptable User Agreement before receiving a Chromebook. Chromebooks should be issued during the first two weeks of school. Technology Coordinators and Media Specialists, if you need any additional assistance distributing Chromebooks, contact your Technology Integration Specialists.

Google Classroom and Schoology will auto populate classes from PowerSchool this year. We will have daily exports/imports from PowerSchool to pick up any new students that register throughout the year. If you plan on using either platform and need additional training, your Technology Coaches are available.
