Principal Senethavilay's Update

Dear First Grade Families,

We let you know last week that we had a teacher from Virtual School House who would be coming over to take over the classroom for Mrs. Reed so she can resume her other position. Mrs. Jana Rangel is here setting up her room this week and working with Mrs. Reed to prepare for the transition. Your children are currently working in the classroom with her.

The first-grade team is also pushing pause on making placement decisions for first grade at this time. We have still not found the candidate we need for our students for a fifth classroom. Please know that we will continue with business as usual, with our classes a bit overcrowded, while we wait.

Below is a letter from Mrs. Rangle to her classroom families. Please take a moment to welcome her to PVE.

We are eager to welcome our newest teacher to our staff, someone who comes with the highest praise from her former administrator! So welcome, Mrs. Rangel; we are thrilled to have you join our team. Again, thank you for working with the PVE staff to do what is best for students, knowing that change is on the horizon.

Meet and Greet with Ms. Rangel

Please feel free to come meet our new teacher, Ms. Rangel. You WILL be required to sign in and get a visitor's badge if you attend prior to 4:15 pm. We also ask that you plan accordingly, as we will have a very busy parking lot from 3:15-4:10.
