Returning Next Year?
It is that time of year again when we begin to look ahead to next year. Creating class lists is a challenging task. We look at individual academic needs, group dynamics, gender breakdowns, behavior needs, emotional supports, and more!
If you feel that there is specific information you would like us to be aware of when deciding class placement of your child for next year, please fill out THIS FORM (link). This form is OPTIONAL. We take the placement process very seriously and reflect on a variety of factors when deciding the best placement for students. However, this is NOT an opportunity to request specific teachers. Please also know that your input will be reviewed, but we cannot guarantee that all input will be able to be acted upon.
Staff will determine the best placement for all students. We will create initial drafts in May that will be finalized and shared with families in August.
In order for your input to be considered, this form must be completed by May 3, 2024. If you are interested in sharing input for multiple children, please fill out a separate form for each child.
Thank you for your continued home support of Ronald Reagan!
Yours In Learning,
Angela Patterson, principal
Matt Stich, associate principal
Did You Know?
It is that time of year again when we are looking ahead to the 2024-2025 school year. Are you moving? We'd love to hear from you! If you are planning on moving or attending a different elementary school for the 2024-2025 school year, please contact Shelley Sukenik in our main office at 262-789-6550 or shelley.sukenik@nbexcellence.org. Please also complete this withdrawal form (link).
SUNSCREEN AND BUG SPRAY
This form must be completed if you want your student to have sunscreen or bug spray at school. Sunscreen and bug spray must be applied by an adult at school and kept by staff. It cannot be carried or applied by students.
Rock'n Reagan Day (May 31st) Please put sunscreen on your students before school!
MEDICATION PICK UP
All health room medications (prescription and over-the-counter) must be picked up in the office by a parent or designated adult by the last day of school. Medication not picked up will be disposed of - it is not held over the summer.
Kindergarten Fine Arts Night - May 8th
Wednesday, May 8th Ronald Reagan Kindergarteners will present their Fine Arts Night. Students will present “The Very, Very Gingerbread Man” in the gym beginning at 6:30pm. Doors to the gym will open at 6pm. All kindergarten students should report to the Media Room at 6:15pm that evening.
In addition to the musical program that evening, student artwork will be on display in the hallways around the art room. Please stop by before or after the performance to view your child’s artwork.
Because performance and presentation are an important part of the fine arts curriculum, all students are expected to participate. If your child will not be able to participate, please contact Mrs. Schilling no later than Monday, April 22nd.
All students should wear dress clothes, please. We will add small costume pieces at school.
Questions? Please contact Mrs. Schilling at Christina.Schilling@nbexcellence.org
We look forward to sharing the students’ performance with you!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Schilling
