🌟 Testing Time Tips: Helping Your Child Shine! 🌟
State testing is underway for all students in grades 3rd-6th. We know how hard your children have been working, and we are so proud of all they have accomplished. Here are a few simple ways you can support them at home to help them feel confident and ready:
🛌 Prioritize Rest
A good night's sleep is one of the best ways to set your child up for success. Try to keep bedtime routines calm and consistent the night before testing days.
🍳 Eat a Healthy Breakfast
Fueling up with a balanced breakfast (including protein, fruits, and whole grains) helps children stay focused and energized during testing. Remember, we offer free breakfast at school from 8:20-8:40AM.
⏰ Arrive On Time
A calm, unhurried start to the day can ease any nervous feelings. Please be sure your child arrives at school on time, especially on testing days! The line up bell rings at 7:47AM and school begins at 7:50AM.
💬 Offer Encouragement
Remind your child that you are proud of their effort — not just their scores! A little pep talk can go a long way in boosting their confidence.
📝 Talk About the Test in a Positive Way
Testing is just one way to show what they've learned. Help your child see it as an opportunity to shine, not something to fear.
We believe in every one of our students and are excited to see them show what they know! Thank you for being such an important part of their success.
Calling all Future Kindergarten Students:

Parking Lot Safety is Always a Priority
Parking Lot Reminders:
We are each responsible for keeping our parking lot safe. When everyone follows the procedures, our drop-off's and pick-up's run much smoother. We thank you for putting in the extra few minutes it takes to follow the rules. It really does make a huge difference for the safety of our students. Many of our potential accidents and "near misses" occur when students are arriving late. Please, continue to follow the procedures , especially in those final minutes before the gates close. Some points to remember:
- Students should exit/enter cars from the passenger side doors. Please don't ask your children to walk into the drive through lane traffic to enter/exit your car.
- All students should use the safety walking path to avoid the very busy driveways.
The green arrows, illustrated above, show the path cars must follow. Student drop off may only take place when you reach the area with red arrows.
Walkers must follow the safety walking path which is to the right of the green arrows above.
Please understand that if a staff member asks you to follow the procedures, it is for the safety of our students.
Thank you
