Thank you to everyone that submitted positive teacher shoot outs or sent gifts to our teachers! Staff was treated to donated pulled pork sandwiches, teacher gifts, candy, and ice cream through out the week. We love our teachers at Harby Jr High!

Harby was proud of everyone who was honored at the Alvin ISD Employee Recognition Ceremony last night. Ms. Medrano was honored as Rookie teacher of the year, Mrs. Whitlock was honored as teacher of the year, Ms. Avalos was honored as Paraprofessional of the year, Mrs. Johns was honored as the District Secondary Counselor of the year, Officer Pea was named as the Officer of the year for the district, and Harby Jr High received a campus grant. It was a great night!

Mrs. Croxton has been selling yearbooks in the cafeteria each morning and she is close to selling out! Please send $40 cash with your student so they can grab one before they sell out!

We are excited to celebrate our Hawks with their grade level award ceremonies! If you student is receiving an award they will be given a notice so they can invite their parent or guardian. If you plan on attending, you must bring a state or government issued ID and check in through the front office. We look forward to seeing you!
