A Message from Mr Baffoe
As we reach the end of another fantastic academic year, I am thrilled to reflect on the outstanding achievements and memorable moments we have shared as a school community. This year has been nothing short of remarkable, and I am incredibly proud of the dedication and hard work demonstrated by our students, staff, and parents.
One of the most significant highlights of this year is our school's achievement of being graded "Outstanding." This recognition is a testament to the commitment and excellence of everyone involved in our school, and it sets a high standard for us to continue striving towards in the future.
I am also delighted to share some exceptional accomplishments by our students:
A Royal Invitation: Some of our children had the extraordinary opportunity to visit Buckingham Palace and have tea with the Queen. This once-in-a-lifetime experience is a reflection of their outstanding character and achievements.
Writing Competition: One of our talented students from Year 6 was one of 50 finalists for a prestigious national writing competition 500 Words which was launched by the BBC. Her creativity and skill in storytelling have brought great pride to our school.
Art Competition: Another of our students won an art competition, showcasing their incredible artistic talent. Their work has been celebrated and admired by many as it was celebrated on social media.
Football Tournament Victory: Our school's football team emerged victorious in a competitive tournament, demonstrating excellent teamwork, sportsmanship, and determination.
School Councillor Elections: This year, we held our first ballot box vote for school councillors. It was a fantastic exercise in democracy and leadership, and I am proud of all the students who participated, showing great enthusiasm and responsibility.
As we celebrate these achievements, we also bid a fond farewell to some of our beloved staff members:
Ms. Gomes: We wish Ms. Gomes all the best as she prepares for the arrival of her baby. Her contributions to our school have been invaluable, and we look forward to welcoming her back in the future.
Premises Team: We are saying goodbye to our longstanding premises team members—Mr. Harry, Mr. Alan, and Mr. Eddie. They have been the heartbeat of our school, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Their dedication and hard work have been the backbone of our school community, and we owe them a great deal. They will be deeply missed.
Lastly, I would like to extend a special message to our Year 6 children, who will be leaving us to continue their academic journey in secondary school. As you prepare to take this next step, remember that although we close our gates for the last time on Wednesday, our gates will always be open to you. You are always welcome to come back and visit us. We are incredibly proud of each one of you, and we look forward to hearing about your future successes and adventures.
These achievements and transitions highlight the diverse talents and abilities of our students and the dedication of our staff. It is wonderful to see everyone excel in various areas, from academics to the arts and sports. I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all our students and gratitude to our staff for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
As we look forward to the next academic year, I am excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. Let us continue to work together to create an environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
Thank you for your unwavering support and involvement in our school community. I wish you all a restful and enjoyable summer break.

A Right Royal Visit
Four girls were invited to Buckingham Palace for tea in Support of the Women of the World achievements. The WOW bus visited our school earlier last year. The children had said ' This is the best day of my life!' Memorable moments to cherish.
BBC 500 Words Competition - Finalist
The BBC 500 Words competition, renowned for its rigorous standards and immense popularity, attracts entries from young writers nationwide. Our student's exceptional writing skills and captivating storytelling set her apart, earning her a place among the elite group of finalists.
Reflecting on the memorable experience, she shared, "It was the most extraordinary visit! I would love to meet her again." Her enthusiasm and excitement highlight the significance of this unique opportunity, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved.
Thank a Teacher UK - Art Award
In an inspiring display of creativity, a talented young artist from our school has won The National Thank a Teacher Day art competition. The renowned children's book author and illustrator, Rob Biddulph, announced the winner, expressing his admiration for the beautifully observed and composed details in the artwork.
Chloe, our gifted student, created a winning picture featuring our very own Ms. Banton, capturing the essence of her wonderful teachers through her art. Rob Biddulph was particularly impressed, noting, "Chloe had said that all the teachers are wonderful at her school."
This achievement not only highlights Chloe's artistic talent but also her heartfelt appreciation for her educators. We invite you to click on the picture to learn more about this remarkable accomplishment and to see Chloe's award-winning artwork.
