October looks to be filled with some awesome new adventures and super fun holiday events. Our annual CDC Trunk or Treat will be October 31st from 8:30am until 10am. We are looking forward to a safe, fun, & spooky day at school!

Today our infants splashed into our water unit as they enjoyed sensory playtime.

For the month of September our focus was WATER

The one’s got to have some water sensory play with their very own car wash station

The two’s are using their fine motor skills to rescue these dinos from the Ice Age.

The objective for this activity is learning the different forms of water, how water can turn to ice, and how ice can quickly turn back into water.

Class science question - “Will the water travel? “

The 3s got to put their curiosity to the test as they got to see if water will travel. Way to go little scientists! 👨🏻‍🔬

The Three’s are doing a great job using their fine motor skills creating art while using water colors.

Pre-k 1 having a world of fun exploring all around them during centers and circle time

Pre-K 2 fully embraced the start of the fall season and painted fall tree process art.

Pre-K 2 had a fun day making homemade applesauce! Many of our friends gave it two thumbs up and even asked for seconds.

Check out this science experiment Pre-K 2 did testing “Will Skittles melt faster with warm or cold water?” Students were able to make predictions and then compare their guesses with the experiment results.

Pre-k 3 got to put their taste buds to the test as the got to make some tasty ice cold lemonade

By now everyone should have receive a copy of our new 2024-2025 school calendar. We have added a couple of extra in-service days for our PreK teachers, to make sure they are learning all the new things out there to share with your little ones!

The 2024 Homecoming Parade was a HUGE success! But we certainly could not have done it without all the support from our CDC Parents/Families. Our floats racked up the LARGEST PARTICIPATION numbers of the parade! Give yourselves a high five!

November 11th - Teacher InService Day (PreK Closed, Daycare Open)

November 25th through November 29th - Jax State Closed for Thanksgiving Break
