SELF-ESTEEM
How one feels about themselves can impact every part of day to day life. If you have low self-esteem, you have the power to change things around! Take a look at these action steps:- Identify troubling situations (challenges at school, concerns with peers, changes at home)
- Understand your thoughts/beliefs (What do you tell yourself? Would you say those things to a friend?)
- Challenge your negative thoughts (don't confuse your feelings/beliefs with facts, stop putting yourself down)
- Adjust your thoughts and beliefs (replace your negative thoughts with constructive thoughts, forgive yourself if you make a mistake, encourage yourself)
