Happy October, Bulldogs!
We have had a successful first six weeks at Bonham Middle School! We had a packed Open House where teachers were able to meet parents and show them how to access at-home learning opportunities and Schoology. We kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month with a mariachi band and a photo booth. Also, we brought back our Bulldog Walk to celebrate our student-athletes and band members. This was a great way for our school to show their Bulldog Spirit. With all our extracurricular activities in full swing, I encourage you to get your student to school and check their grades in skyward consistently.
October will be another busy month at Bonham. Theatre is practicing for their fall performance at the beginning of the month. Football, volleyball and cross country are in the middle of successful seasons. Finally, teachers are pushing our students to meet grade level expectations in all subjects. I encourage all parents to track student progress through Skyward and communicate with teachers with any concerns. At the end of the month, Bonham will be celebrating student behavior with the Halloween Bake Off Social. Students that are in good standing with behavior will be allowed to spend the last of the day socializing with their peers, listening to music and buying Halloween treats. It should be a fun time!
