Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year!

Please pardon the interruption of what I hope is proving to be an amazing summer break for you all! I don't want to burst anyone's "summer bubble" but we have a lot of important information to share and I'm sure many of you are eager to start getting prepped for the start of school in 20 days!

We are looking forward to an exciting year with our newly expanded building and refreshed parking lot and blacktop area as well as the start of full-day kindergarten!

The construction has continued steadily throughout the summer and is all coming together on schedule! We can't wait for you all to see it! We will be hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the new additions to our building. Date and time are still TBD as we monitor the finishing touches on our construction. More information will be shared soon.

Class placement information will be sent out via email on Thursday, August 22nd. We cannot tell you what time the emails will be sent as this is a centralized process. If you have not heard about your child's class placement by 8:00 am on Friday, August 23rd, please reach out to Mrs. Hamilton or Mrs. Dunning in the front office and they will be able to help you.

Our PTA has been busy organizing some fantastic events so please mark your calendars for the LAST SPLASH POOL PARTY on Thursday, August 15th at Frontier Pool and the always amazing BACK TO SCHOOL BASH that will take place on Friday, September 6th! We are so grateful to our PTA for organizing these events and helping to start off the school year with opportunities to have fun and connect with one another! More details can be found below!

Additional detailed information will be shared regarding daily processes and procedures in the coming weeks so please be on the lookout and take time to read that information carefully as it will be full of information.

In the meantime, I hope you all continue to enjoy the rest of the summer break! We cannot wait for the start of school on Thursday August, 29th!

Supply Drop off will take place on Wednesday, August 28th from 2:50 - 3:20pm. Teachers are still busy preparing for an amazing first day of school. Please stop by to drop off school supplies and meet your teacher! We kindly ask that only current families visit the classroom so that teachers are able to say hello and connect with each of their new students during this time. Once you drop off your supplies please feel free to stop by the commons to taste some of our delicious hot lunch items, visit our new construction or head outside to the blacktop area and connect with other families outdoors. There is no need to organize supplies while you are in the classroom. Teachers will build that into the first few days of school.

If you ordered supplies through the PTA, those supplies will be delivered directly to your child's classroom. If you still need to purchase supplies, please visit the below link for a school supply list. If you are unable to attend supply drop off, please know that your child can bring their supplies in over the first few days of school.

Our Food Services team will be in the commons providing samples of the menu items they will be offering this school year! Stop by for a taste test and to ask any questions.

We are SO happy to welcome many new faces to Patton this year! We will share more information about them in future Patton Posts but, for now, please join me in welcoming the following new staff members!

Join us for a splash-tastic time at Patton's Last Splash on Thursday, August 15! Let's soak up the last wave of summer with popsicles and plenty of poolside fun. Admission is FREE with registration and a pool pass or a bracelet. Details and a registration link are available HERE

We cannot wait for our annual Back to School Bash on Friday, September 6th! As with all our events, what makes them so awesome is our amazing PTA and volunteers! If you would like to help out, please reach out to Lisa Roberts at lmriske@yahoo.com

Please note that the PTA will NOT be selling beverages at this event! Please bring your own drinks or refillable water bottles.
