MMHS Builders Club is looking for donations!
Builders Club, which held its second meeting of the school year on Monday, October 28th, is looking for donations to support the Mashpee Cares Closet (MCC). Our Builders Club members are dedicated to keeping the MCC stocked and organized, making sure essential items like food, clothing, and hygiene products are accessible to all students at Mashpee Middle-High School. Their efforts keep this resource available for those who need it most.
We’re currently looking for donations of the following items: Items Needed for the MCC. Any help in keeping the MCC stocked with essential supplies is greatly appreciated!
For questions or more information, please reach out to Builders Club Advisors Casey Lynch (clynch@mpspk12.org) and Laura Taylor (ltaylor@mpspk12.org).
The Mashpee Public Schools SEPAC needs you!
A SEPAC is a Special Education Parent Advisory Council. Every public school district in Massachusetts is required to establish a SEPAC. Membership is free and open to all district parents of children with disabilities (IEPs and 504 plans) or without.
The role of the SEPAC can include:
Discussing district special education needs, progress, concerns and/or questions related to overall district special education programming.
Meeting with administrators to collaborate on special education programming and policies in our district.
Providing a support network for families to voice personal concerns and experiences without judgment.
Organizing surveys to see how our district’s special education and general education can improve.
Providing resources, workshops, and information on events related to special education
A SEPAC is different from other parent groups in a school district such as a PTA, PTO or School Council – a SEPAC does not represent families from one school, but represents all families of children with disabilities from the entire school district. We need YOU to create a thriving, meaningful Mashpee SEPAC!
EMAIL SEPAC@MPSPK12.ORG WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR INPUT!
