New Student Luncheon
Thank you!
We are so grateful to our incredible counselors and ASB for their hard work and dedication in organizing the New Student Luncheon. Their efforts created a welcoming and inclusive environment for our new students, helping them feel connected and supported as they begin their journey at Lincoln.
Your commitment to fostering a sense of belonging for every student truly embodies the spirit of our school community. Thank you for making this event such a success and for all you do to make Lincoln a place where everyone feels at home.
Footwear
Important Information
At LMS we have an expectation that students wear appropriate footwear for safety reasons. It is expected that students have shoes that have backs (crocs are acceptable with the back part on) to prevent students from slipping out of their shoes and harming themselves. Unfortunately, some students are having difficulty following this expectation. Please note that any student identified wearing inappropriate footwear will remain in the office until appropriate footwear can be brought to them at school to ensure safety. Repeat offenses will result in additional disciplinary action. Below are examples of what students ARE NOT allowed to wear.
PTSA's Reflections
"Accepting Imperfection”
That’s the theme for the 2024-25 Reflections Art Program, which has been bringing the arts to life for more than 10 million students since 1969. California State PTA and its members, families and kids are on the forefront of this amazing program, which increases community awareness of the importance of arts in education.
Reflections encourages students of all ages to:
- Unleash creative talents and be inspired
- Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork
- Experience the fun and joy of making art
- Tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme
- Receive positive recognition for their original works of art.

Fall Tryouts!
As the crisp autumn air settles in, we are excited to kick off the fall sports season here at Lincoln! Our student-athletes have been training hard, and their dedication, teamwork, and school spirit are truly inspiring. Whether they’re on the field, court, or track, they are ready to give their best and represent our school with pride.
We invite all families to come out and support our teams. Your encouragement means the world to our athletes and helps create a vibrant and supportive community.
Let’s make this season one to remember—Go Lions!
Cell phone reminder!
Please read
As a reminder students should not be using their cellphones to communicate with you during the school day. If a student needs to contact you, they are always welcome to use a school phone.
If your student is not feeling well and believes they need to go home, please direct your student to go see the nurse. The nurse will assess your student and if sent home it will be considered an excused absence.
Message from our School Nurse
Medication
Medication: All prescription medications and others including, but not limited to asthma inhalers, Epi Pens, antibiotics, pain medication, decongestants, vitamins, etc. are REQUIRED to have a Medication at School form filled out by the healthcare provider. The form must include student name, method, dosage, time, purpose, and date in order for the medication to be administered at school. This form may be obtained in the Nurse’s office or downloaded from our district webpage and must be renewed every school year. All medications must be in the original prescription container and stored in the Nurse’s office (unless indicated otherwise by physician). All medication orders expire at the end of every school year. It is the parent’s responsibility to bring in an updated medication order at the beginning of the new school year and pick them up on the last day of school.
