Hello Springton Manor Families
We are going to have 2 spirit days next week!
Monday - We love to support our local sports teams. Students and staff are welcome to wear their Eagles gear or any other sports gear. Tuesday - Constitution Day is Tuesday, September 17th. Students and staff are encouraged to wear their Red, White, and Blue to celebrate!
Our school day officially starts at 9:00 but students begin moving to classrooms at 8:55. If you are dropping your child off in the morning, please try to be here before 8:55 so that your child can join their class for their morning routines. Students arriving after 9:00 will be marked as late to school.
A huge thank you to our HSA for putting together a wonderful Back to School Playground Party! It was perfect weather and great way for our students and families to reconnect. The raffle was super exciting too! Thank you!
Keep reading for more information on this year's Fun Run and Fall Fest! We simply can't wait!
Warmly,
Robyn Spear

Red Ticket Recognition
We are so proud of our Mindful Mustangs! We have so many kids earning those red tickets already this school year! We want to celebrate them! We are asking parents, to snap a photo of your child holding the red ticket that they earned with another family member (parent, grandparent, sibling - anyone). so that we can post them on our internal TV screens.
If you snap a photo - you can upload it using the link below. If your child earns more than one Red Ticket - feel free to snap and upload more than one picture!

Springton Manor's Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) - Mindful Mustang
Springton Manor’s Positive Behavior Intervention System is rooted in being a Mindful Mustang! You may have heard your child talk about this. For several years now, we have spent time throughout the school year teaching our students the Mindful Mustangs’ Four Core Values (pictured above).
When students demonstrate these four core values at school, they can be rewarded in several ways:
Individual Rewards:
- Red Tickets: Students in grades K-3 can earn Red Tickets, which are added to a bucket. Randomly selected winners earn an extra prize each week. Students in grades 4-5 can save their Red Tickets and cash them in to shop at our Red Ticket Cart.
Class Rewards:
- Class Shout Outs: Whole classes can be awarded a class shout out for showing Mindful Mustang behavior together. For example, a class might earn a shout out for being quiet while walking through the hallway to avoid disrupting other classes. When classes earn enough Class Shout Outs to travel around their race track (displayed on the wall in their classroom), the whole class enjoys a reward!
- LAMP Awards: New this year, classes can earn a LAMP award, which stands for “Library, Art, Music, and PE.” These awards go to one class in each grade each cycle period. Classes will display their award in their classroom and be recognized in our display case outside the main office. (pictured below are our first class winners)
When your child talks about earning one of these rewards, you will know they are working hard to be the best Mindful Mustang they can be. Thank you for all your support!
