Message From The Principal
Dear LPS Families,
It was an awesome week at LPS. Our Tigers loved the improved weather for outside recess and time with friends. Our students continue to work hard and are growing every day. We celebrated our April Terrific Tigers as well and had hundreds of students visit the Tiger Trading Post as part of our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) system.
On a different note, we recently wrapped up our annual magazine sale for LECC, LPS, and LES. The total profit for the sale was just under $14,000.00 for the 3 buildings. LPS will receive just over $5,000 from the sale to support our students and building initiatives. These additional funds allow us to provide more opportunities for our students that we otherwise wouldn't be able to provide including additional learning materials, books, and instructional tools. Thanks for all you do as LPS families to support our school!
I hope you and your family enjoy the long weekend and that you find a few minutes to reconnect. We will see our Tigers back on Monday.

2025-2026 Parent Input Forms
Our goal is to match your child's overall learning needs and preferences to an appropriate classroom environment. If there is specific information you would like us to consider as we make placement decisions regarding your child, please let us know using the Parent Input Form. Please avoid specific teacher requests and instead share information on a classroom environment/teacher personality that would be best for your child. If an older sibling had a teacher at Loveland, you may comment on that experience and it will be taken into consideration.

Forms will need to be sent back in or submitted by Friday, April 18. Please share ALL relevant placement concerns/information via the form provided. We are unable to accommodate individual e-mails, personal notes, phone calls, and impromptu meetings, due to the high number of students placed each year. We look forward to working with you and your child next year!
LMS Drama Production - Aladdin Jr.
Tickets for LMS Drama's spring production of Aladdin Jr. are on sale now! A fast paced, magical tale filled with love, adventure and music, Aladdin Jr. showcases the incredible talent of seventy Loveland Middle School students both on stage and behind the scenes! Calling All 2nd Grade Families!
2nd Grade Families,
We need your help to make the carnival a truly a memorable day for the kids. The picnic is completely planned, worked and funded by our wonderful parents and families. To accommodate all of our 2nd graders, the event will take place over 3 days. Please sign up below to help on the day your student is participating:

Counselor's Corner
Kindness Club
This year we have been able to spread kindness to lots of different people, organizations and furry friends. Now we are going to focus on loving our planet. We are collaborating with LES for our April Compassion Project which will focus on taking care of our Planet Earth in honor of Earth Day on April 22nd. Please see the list below on ways to save our earth every day. Classrooms will also have an opportunity to do some read alouds and other Earth Day related activities that were created by the LES Kindness Council. We encourage you to start and/or continue habits that affect our planet in a positive way!
LEPTA News
Are you interested in being more involved with LEPTA next year? We could really use your help! We have several open positions next year on the board including:
- Communications - Manages our member emails and our social media.
- Building representatives for LECC - Coordinates volunteers for events at LECC and helps to take care of LECC needs and staff appreciation.
- Walk-A-Thon Coordinator (or co-chairs if two people would like to do it together) - This event will be like last years, so there is a good template that can be followed.
- ASEP Coordinator - Help another (seasoned) coordinator schedule our After school enrichment classes and their registration.

Impact Night
On April 17 from 5-8 PM, Tigers Inc is hosting Impact Night in downtown Loveland. Impact Night is a great opportunity to support local restaurants and stores within our community and give back to Loveland as a whole. Additionally, Lemons and Limes will donate 20% of all sales to the Steve Kenyon Outdoor Classroom at LHS. There is a raffle in store for a $50 gift card at no additional cost! So be sure to stop by in support of the Loveland community.
Reminders
Get Transportation Updates on Your Smartphone
You can get information about bus routes and bus delays online or on your smartphone. Follow this link to our Transportation page, or download the “My Ride K-12” app from your phone’s app store. Once you’ve registered and logged in, you can connect with your student’s information with their 5-digit student ID and last name. The app now allows real-time tracking of your student’s bus. If you activate push notifications, our transportation team can send you notifications about transportation delays.
School Fee Reminder
Loveland City School District will begin sending automated reminders about outstanding school fees, including unpaid preschool or kindergarten tuition. Families with unpaid fees will receive a call and email with the total amount due for this year and any previous years. These messages will occur monthly when there is a balance to be paid. To see details of outstanding fees or make a payment, please follow this link to log in to PaySchools Central. If you have questions about unpaid fees, please contact your building secretary.
