Here are a few ways you can help prepare your child for the upcoming state tests:

• Create a Supportive Environment: Ensure your child has a quiet, comfortable space for studying at home. Minimize distractions and encourage a positive attitude towards learning.

• Regular Homework & Study Sessions: Encourage consistent completion of homework and study sessions. Regular practice reinforces what’s learned in class and boosts confidence.

• Promote Healthy Habits: A balanced diet, sufficient sleep, and regular exercise all contribute to better cognitive function. Help your child maintain a healthy lifestyle during testing.

• Open Communication: Stay in touch with your child's teacher. If you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to support you and your child’s success.

• Celebrate Progress: Celebrate your child’s efforts and achievements, big or small. Positive reinforcement builds confidence and motivation.

The Butler Middle School celebrates academic excellence by officially launching a national recognition program that celebrates academic assessment and student achievement. The NJHS is not an honor society based solely on grade point average. Students will become official members at an induction ceremony April 30th at 6pm. More information to come.
