MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL, DR. ROCHE:
Dear Bulldogs Families and Bulldogs:
As part of our continuous efforts to support student success, we’ve set a goal to help our 9th and 10th graders improve their math skills by Winter 2025. We will be measuring this progress through the Math STAR test, which students take in both the fall and winter. Here's what we aim to achieve:
Hispanic/Latino students: We want to increase the percentage of students showing significant growth from 36% in Fall 2024 to 45% by Winter 2025.
Students in the Transitional Bilingual Instructional Program (TBIP): We are aiming to boost the percentage of these students showing high growth from 39% to 45%.
Students receiving Special Education services (SpEd): Our goal is to increase the growth rate from 29% to 35%.
This goal reflects our commitment to ensuring all students get the support they need to succeed in math. We are excited to work with you as we strive to meet this goal!

Skagit County Teen Court Training 5-6:30 pm, September 25 at the Courthouse
Teen Court is looking for new members! Anyone is welcome to join us at our after-school meetings on the first and third Thursdays of each month in NM207.
FAQS
1. What is Teen Court? Students serve as Advocates, Judge, and Jury in a real criminal case involving their peers, to determine the appropriate consequences for the offense, focusing on restorative justice principles. Juveniles coming into Teen Court have already admitted to committing the offense and agree to be bound by the recommendations of a jury of their peers.. Teen Court is a collaboration between Skagit County Superior Court, Office of Juvenile Court, the Prosecutor’s Office and Public Defender’s Office, and local high schools.
2. Why Teen Court? Participants learn about our court system, practice public speaking and oral advocacy, develop empathy, build mentoring relationships with local attorneys and judges, and develop friendships with students across Skagit County.
3. When/Where is Teen Court? Teen Court takes place at the Skagit County Superior Courthouse the 3rd Wednesday of every month, while school is in session, except for December. Doors open at 5:00. From 5-5:30 we have snacks, Student Advisory Board meets, and participants set up and do final preparations of their cases. Court is called to order at 5:30, for jury orientation, and is typically wrapped by 7:00PM. (exact time depends on the length of jury deliberations)
Please join us on September 25 at the courthouse for an all-county teen court training!
