• The 2020-21 school calendar has been approved by the St. Rita School Board. A copy will be coming home in this week’s Friday folder, and can always be accessed on the Parent Portal.

Volunteers are needed to help prepare a treat for our students during Catholic Schools Week. We will need help on Thursday, 1/30/20, at 9:30 am. The length of time that the work will take will depend on the amount of volunteers but shouldn’t take more than 2 hours. The Catholic Education Foundation, the Archdiocese of Louisville and our funding partners are helping more families than ever who cannot afford the full cost of educating their children in a Catholic elementary school.

WHO CAN APPLY? All families with one or more children enrolled in or applying to a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Louisville.

WHEN DO I APPLY? Tuition assistance applications should be submitted between December 15, 2019 and February 28,2020.

HOW DO I APPLY? A single form, the FACTS management application, will be used for all forms of Catholic elementary school tuition assistance. The online application is available on our website, www.ceflou.org.

When submitting your application, you must submit your 2018 federal income tax return and 2018 W-2 information.

DO I APPLY EVERY YEAR? Yes, you must apply for tuition assistance each year.

St. Rita School will be hosting its fifth annual Taste of St. Rita (TOSR) fundraiser on Saturday, February 22, 2020 and we want to invite you to be a part of this exciting event. We are asking for a donation to help supply the auction items that we include at the Taste. These items can be services (hair care, skin care, detailing cars, etc.), tickets to an event, hotel stay, movie passes, the list is endless.

The students that make a donation of items valued at $25.00 and over or a cash donation of at least $25.00 will win a Popcorn and Movie party.

Thank you for your support with our school’s largest fundraiser.

Donations may be turned in at the school office.

Any person that works with children in the archdiocese (school, church, sports, etc.) must have the one-time Safe Environment Training that is provided by the Archdiocese of Louisville. You can always visit their website for a training schedule. The following is a list of upcoming trainings:

La escuela St. Rita estara organizando por Quinto año El Sabor de St. Rita (TOSR) fundación que se llevara a cabo el Sábado, 22 de Febrero, 2020 y queremos invitarlos que sean parte de este evento emocionante. Estamos solicitando una donación para ayudar a abastecer los articulos de la subasta que incluimos en este evento. Estos articulos pueden ser servicios (corte de cabello, cuidados de la piel, detalles de carros, etc.), boletos para algun evento, estadia en hotel, pases para ir al cine, la lista es interminable.

Los estudiantes que hagan una donación de articulos en el valor de $25.00 y por arriba ganaran una fiesta de pelicula y palomita de maiz.

Gracias por su ayuda hacia nuestro mas grande recaudador de fondos de la escuela.

Donaciones pueden ser entregadas en la oficina de la escuela.
