From the Director's Chair
Greetings ACE Families,
GPISD and thousands of communities celebrated and rallied for afterschool programs as the Afterschool Alliance organized the 23nd annual Lights On Afterschool! This nationwide event on Friday, October 28, 2022, called attention to the importance of afterschool programs and the resources required to keep the lights on and the doors open, especially as programs step up to help students, families, and communities at this time. We had an amazing turnout even with inclement weather. Our families showed up and were ready to support our program. We were extra excited to partner with the Grand Prairie Parks and Recreations to create such an amazing event as well.
Thank you!
