Arrival & Dismissal - Reminder
Please take a moment to review a few important reminders:
Arrival Time: Students should not arrive on campus before 7:35 am, as there is no supervision available before this time.
Drop-offs after 8:20 should take place in the lower lot: Parents/guardians must sign in their child/ren in the main office vestibule (Door 1).
Drop-Offs and Pick-Ups: All drop-offs and pick-ups must take place in our upper lot, following the designated traffic flow. Please remain in your car while your child exits or enters the vehicle to ensure a smooth and safe process. We understand that there may be special circumstances, such as an injury, where you may need to park to assist your child. In those cases, of course, it is perfectly fine to step out and support them.
Bus-Only Zones: The lower lot is reserved for buses only from 7:35 am to 8:20 am and again from 2:45 pm to 3:20 pm. Please avoid using this area during those times to ensure the safety of our students boarding and exiting buses.
If you have any questions or need further clarification, please feel free to contact Ryan Murray at murray@ogschool.org.Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to seeing you all soon!

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) - Grades K-5
In SEL we have been studying Emotion Management in K-5th grades. While the most common and accessible tool is breathing, we wanted to add a little sparkle and fun to our last week of this unit. We need YOUR HELP! Please send in a small/mini EMPTY plastic water bottle. If you have a lot of them, great! You can send them in (if you have a bunch, please put them in a bag and label them "Mrs. Kiefer"). We plan to make glitter jars in all of our classes next week! Students will practice breathing while they watch the glitter settle, watch the different patterns their glitter makes, and more.
