What's Happening at Central Crossing High School
Comet Olympics
The CCHS Comet Olympics will be taking place on Tuesday, November 26th. Tickets are $3 and will be sold in lunch on Monday, 11/25 and on Tuesday morning, 11/26. Students - remember to show your Comet pride and represent your grade level by wearing your class colors! The bell schedule for the day is below as well.
- Freshmen: Gray T-shirts
- Sophomores: Blue T-Shirts
- Juniors: Black T-Shirts
- Seniors: White T-Shirts
Parent Pick-Up Reminders
Parents and Guardians: When picking up your student early from school, please remember that, per district policy, your government ID is required to check your student out early.
Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled for Thursday, December 12 (3:30 - 7:30). Parents and families have the option of attending conferences in person or virtually. To schedule a conference click on the teacher's name HERE to access the Google Calendar, find Thursday, December 12 on the calendar, and select an available appointment. When signing up for an appointment please include in the comments: Student Name, Adult Name, and if the conference will be in person or virtual. Our teachers look forward to meeting you and discussing your students' progress.
T1 Honor Roll
Over 700 students earned Honor Roll during the first term! Congratulations to all of these students and their families! Also thank you to all of our staff for their work with all of our students.
State Testing
Students in a first-semester government course or who need to retake the English Language Arts 2 (ELA2) and/or Algebra 1 end-of-course state exams will be testing in December. Test preparation for students taking the ELA2 or Algebra 1 state exams is available December 2- 6 from 7:20-7:50 am in the library. Students who need to test will receive letters in their homeroom classes on Monday, November 25th, and families will also be notified via email on the same day. Please review these letters and ensure that your student attends school on time on their test day with a fully charged chromebook. Thank you!

Graduation Requirements and Career Academy Programs
Over the last few weeks, school counselors have gone into social studies classes for Cohorts 2027 and 2028 to discuss graduation requirements and the grading policy. Here is the presentation that was given to sophomores on November 12th. The 10th-grade presentation has additional information about the application process for the South-Western Career Academy programs since this is the year students will apply for the two-year programs.
