BHS to Present Little Women
Burnsville High School junior Victoria Jacobson leads the cast in the role of Jo March, who is growing up with her sisters Meg (junior Cori Dawson), Beth (sophomore Allie Stuart), and Amy (junior Sara Russell) during the Civil War. They strive to be brave, intelligent and imaginative young women. But as adulthood approaches, each sister must negotiate her private ambitions with society’s expectations.
While the characters may be familiar to readers of all generations, Hamill’s adaptation reveals that the March sisters still have plenty to say to 21st century fans of the classic coming-of-age novel.

Weather Related Learning Day Expectations
Elementary School VA Students
Morning meetings will happen at the regular scheduled times. Asynchronous work throughout the day. Ability to check in with teacher's regular office hours for help.
Middle School VA Students
Due to shared staff with virtual academy and our in-person schools, middle school VA will be primarily asynchronous.
Teachers will post an assignment on Schoology for each class. Each class will have one assignment posted and attendance will be taken for each class based on completion of that assignment.
Advisory will take place today from 9-10am.
Students should use the advisory link they use each day. Please note that advisory is at a different time today and will be the only live session today.
Teachers will also be available throughout the day via Schoology and e-mail to assist students and answer questions.
