Spelling Bee Winners!
After 34 rounds of spelling, Judith Frimpong of House Jukumu came out on top to be the 2025 school spelling bee winner. Close behind her was Isaac Qualls of House Tayir.
Congratulations to everyone who made it to the school spelling bee and amazing job to Judith Frimpong. Good luck to you at the Big Blue Bee!
Academic Team Advances!
The TCMS Academic Team competed in the Regional Tournament this weekend against seven other schools. We came in as 2nd place overall, and 2nd in quick recall, which advances them to the State Tournament! We also had several place in written assessments, which also qualifies them for the State Tournament. Please congratulate these students with us!

Archery Accolades!
TCMS Archery won 2nd place in the Fayette County Championship this weekend, earning a season high team score! Congratulations to Jadon Moore for winning FIRST PLACE for all middle school boys in Fayette County and to Gavin Miles for winning 5th place for all middle school boys in Fayette County!
The team will compete in the state tournament March 14.

Are you ready to join TCMS Track & Field for the 2025 season? Tryouts are coming up, and we want you to be a part of the team!
Tryout Dates:
8th Grade – March 3rd, 4:00-5:30
7th Grade – March 4th, 4:00-5:30
6th Grade – March 5th, 4:00-5:30
Important Reminder:
Physicals are MANDATORY for both conditioning and tryouts. If you already have a physical on file, you must request a copy and submit it to Mr. Parham or Ms. Blevins before participating.
Conditioning Dates:
February 24, 25, 26, & 27 from 4:00-5:30
Conditioning is not required but highly recommended, especially for those new to track and field. This is a great opportunity to learn the basics and start training. Returning athletes are welcome to join as well.
