District-Wide Student Flea Market - Become a Vendor!
STUDENT OPPORTUNITY Hello PPS High school students, we are so excited to announce this spring on June 1st, our district is holding its first district-wide student flea market, led by students, for students, and we'd love you to be part of this exciting event whether you want to be a vendor or just come to shop the market. Due to limited space, students must apply to be a vendor, and if selected then are required to purchase a booth at the market. We recommend multiple students work together to run a booth. Two different booth sizes will be offered and charged based on size. After operation costs the money fundraised from booth deposits will be donated directly to a non profit that focus on promoting sustainability within our city. Profits made from booths will go directly to the students running the booth, so this is a great opportunity to make some cash! This event offers a dynamic platform to empower high school students in the PPS district by providing an opportunity to showcase creativity, passions, and entrepreneurial skills through a flea market event. We aim to bridge the gap between schools and the community, fostering collaboration and connections among students while promoting sustainable shopping practices. Where: Ida B. Wells Football Feild When: June 1st 11:30-3:30 What: District wide student Flea Market

PSU Community Counseling Clinic
PSU Community Counseling Clinic has openings right now for individual (children, teens, adults), couples, and family therapy sessions. These are in-person or virtual and operate on a sliding scale $5-20/ student. Sessions are provided by PSU counseling students supervised by licensed therapists. Seems like a great low-cost resource for folks that haven't been able to get access to services at school or in the community due to the high need.
