How is it December already? I'd like to wish you all a wonderful holiday season and holiday break! I feel so fortunate to work with your children and families. Please continue to reach out with any questions, concerns or positives!

TUITION PAYMENTS DUE DECEMBER 15TH...
Full Day Kindergarten -
A reminder that the final tuition payment for Full Day Kindergarten is due on December 15th. At that time your balance should be at zero. If the required payment is not received by that date, your child will be reassigned to the Half Day Kindergarten program and not eligible to attend upcoming field trips. Thank you for your help with this matter.
Preschool -
A reminder that the second tuition payment for Preschool students is due on December 15th. If the required payment is not received by that date, your child will be excluded from attending until payment is received. Thank you for your help with this matter.

LIBRARY UPDATE FROM MRS. WATKINS...
What a fun Fall we had in the library! The story of Pumpkin Jack was a highlight as we read about the life cycle of a pumpkin from carving to new growth. Throughout November, the students enjoyed watching our very own Pumpkin Jack change shape!
During makerspace, students had fun working together to build marble runs and construct with Magna Tiles. To connect our SOAR trait, students created and colored a Flap Page School and chose pictures to show how they could be responsible at school! We continue to SOAR!
Winter break is just around the corner! As a way to keep reading fun, students will bring home a Winter Reading Challenge. Choose 5 (or more) snowflakes and color them in once the challenge is completed. This is completely optional but provides an opportunity for students to read books in exciting ways and places while spending time with family and friends. Please return them to your child’s teacher during the first week of January to win a prize!

CHANGING WEATHER...
- As the weather changes, please make sure to send your child with coats, hats, gloves, etc... We will go out for recess/outdoor time as the weather allows.
- Don't forget to label EVERYTHING so items can be returned to the correct student if misplaced.
- Many students have clothes for warm weather as their extra clothes. Please make sure to send in clothes for the colder weather in case your child needs to change.
OFFICE REMINDERS...
- Please be prepared to show your IDs when you're picking up your child for an early dismissal. Our staff will be asking for IDs any time that your child leaves our building with an adult. Thank you for your cooperation!
- If you are planning to take a vacation that your child will miss school, please remember to fill out a vacation form ahead of time. CLICK HERE to view the form on our website.
EAGLE PRIDE DAYS...
At AELC, Mrs. Fox visits each classroom to announce the winner and awards the student with a certificate and a lanyard!
