Read Woke Coming in February!

In honor of African American History Month, Women's History Month, and Read Across America, our library is challenging our faculty and students to Read Woke. Read one to four books during the months of February and March that feature an underrepresented voice. When you finish the book fill out a Google form (link available in February). Each book read will earn an incentive. But most of all you will keep the experience of reading a book about a character that is different from you. You will learn about their struggles. It is our hope that by reading books from our selected categories that our students will build empathy for others and help to make our world a little kinder.
