Boerne Middle School North vs. Boerne Middle School South – Girls Soccer Recap
The Boerne Middle School North Lady Greyhounds made a statement Thursday night, delivering back-to-back victories over the Fredericksburg Fighting Billies and punching their tickets to the district championship games in spectacular fashion.
The 7th grade team came out firing and never looked back, shutting out Fredericksburg with a commanding 6-0 win. Reagan Barsetti lit up the scoreboard once again, recording her second hat trick of the season and continuing her incredible scoring streak. Ensley Merkins added to the offensive fireworks with two goals of her own, and Rochelle Cobabe rounded out the scoring to cap off a flawless team performance.
The win boosts the 7th grade Greyhounds to a perfect 3-0 record, launching them straight into the district title game with serious momentum.
Not to be outdone, the 8th grade Lady Greyhounds put on a show of their own, securing a 3-1 victory in a thrilling matchup. Ashley Gerlach opened the scoring with a clinical finish, followed by goals from Molly McCormick and Sutton Amerman as the Greyhounds powered their way past the Billies. With the win, the 8th graders closed out their regular season undefeated at 2-0-1, tying for first place and clinching their spot in the championship game thanks to a tiebreaker.
Both teams are now locked in and ready to compete for district titles this Saturday — and the energy couldn’t be higher.

Final Book Checkouts for the 2024-2025 School Year
The last day to check out books this school year is Friday, May 2nd. All books are due Friday, May 9th.
If you have lost your book, you will need to pay the replacement cost, or bring in a new hard back copy of the book you lost to clear your account! **Payments and replacement books can be submitted to Mrs. Griffin in May.
