It helps kids develop essential interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and self-regulation, all while creating a culture of respect and trust. With Capturing Kids' Hearts, students feel more connected, engaged, and enthusiastic about their learning journey.
At the elementary school level, social-emotional learning is incredibly important, and itโs where the magic truly happens! Young children are at a critical stage in their development, learning to understand and manage their emotions, build positive relationships, and make smart, responsible choices. SEL programs like Capturing Kids' Hearts equip students with these crucial life skills, leading to better academic performance, fewer behavioral issues, and a boost in overall happiness and well-being. Each month, we will focus on one of the nine character words during morning announcements and classroom morning meetings. At the end of that month, we will host an afternoon assembly celebrating those students who exemplified that quality throughout the month. Keep your eyes open for those invitations!
