WINTER WEATHER REMINDERS

As we approach cooler temperatures and the winter season, it’s essential for parents and guardians to ensure their contact information in PowerSchool is accurate. This will help you receive timely notifications about potential school delays, cancellations, or early releases due to weather conditions. Please take a moment to update your details so you don’t miss any important announcements.

CCA Winter Weather Guidelines are available on all School and District websites. Please review the guidelines so your family has a plan if the school day schedule changes.

MANDATORY TRAINING REMINDER

Mandatory trainings must be completed by the end of October, please reach out to your supervisors if you are unsure of what still needs to be completed. There have been some updates to the DHS Website - if you need to update your mandatory reporter abuse trainings, please use this website and their procedures to access the trainings.

TECHNOLOGY ANNOUNCEMENTS

CCA GOOGLE ACCOUNT DATA BREACH ALERTS

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing district cybersecurity, we will begin sending regular alerts whenever we learn that your CCA email account has been involved in a data breach from a third-party service. Next week, you will receive an email detailing past data breaches involving your account from 2016 to 2024. Please note that most accounts may have been affected by at least one breach. This email will include additional information about each breach, and if you are still using any passwords associated with these incidents, we strongly encourage you to change them immediately. Specific instructions will be provided in the email. Moving forward, alerts will focus only on newly discovered data breaches.

FALL TECHNOLOGY SALE

The fall sale will be Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 from Noon to 4:00 pm at the Middle School in Tiffin. This year we expect a large number of iPads with limited mac, windows and chrome devices.
