Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate Ms. Ziegler last week for Assistant Principal Appreciation Week. We are so lucky to have her leadership at Irving.

We also want to recognize our School Librarian, Mrs. Rangel, and our team of paraeducators who each had appreciation days while we were off for spring break. We are grateful every day for the incredible work they do for our students.

I hope you all saw my message about our upcoming Staff vs. Students Basketball Game at Heritage on Thursday, April 24th at 3:30 PM. We hope to see you there to cheer everyone on!

On Saturday, April 26th, we’ll be celebrating Earth Day by beautifying our school gardens and cleaning up around the school grounds. Our PTO will also be hosting a Clothing Swap that day. This is a great opportunity to promote sustainability and refresh your child’s wardrobe without breaking the bank—you can fill a paper grocery bag for just $1.00!

Before the event, we’re accepting donations of gently used children’s clothing (sizes newborn to 16). Donations can be dropped off in the front office from April 14–25.

Our PTO is also selling Field Day shirts this year! Field Day is scheduled for Monday, June 2nd, and you can place your order using THIS LINK.

• Shirts are $15.00 each

• Adults and staff are welcome to order

• Shirts will be delivered to school and sorted by the PTO for students

• The sale runs through May 4th

Finally, a reminder that there is no school this Friday in observance of a spring holiday.
