Edgewood Food Drive
Edgewood Eagle Leaders is hosting a food drive to support the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf. Collection bags are located in all first hour classrooms. Please drop off any non-perishable food items until Thursday, November 21. Below is a list of the most needed items. We will also have boxes available for donations during our Fall Musical performances if you would like to donate then.
The Ralph Reeder Food shelf is currently providing food and other resources to over 1,200 families each month and is giving out over 80,000 pounds of food. Your support helps to ensure that our neighbors in need have access to nutritious food and support this season.

Apparel Stores Open!
Show your school spirit! Apparel stores are now open through Thursday, November 14. For guaranteed holiday delivery, order by Tuesday, November 12. Find your school and place an order at mvpschools.org/spiritwear.

Provide Feedback on Student Cell Phones
Per recent email from Principal Tweh, please take the parent/guardian/caretaker survey by noon, November 3. The feedback and recommendations will ultimately be used to help inform the creation of a cell phone policy. Learn more at mvpschools.org/cellphones. Survey results will be shared publicly in the coming weeks.

Order Your Yearbook Online Now!
Yearbooks can now be ordered here. Order now to guarantee a copy for your student at the end of the school year. The online order window closes Friday, March 14, 2025.
Students or parents, if you have any photos with teammates, music mates, or friends that you'd like to share in the yearbook, please send a copy of the photo to Mr. Creagh at benjamin.creagh@moundsviewschools.org.
Wizard of Oz Fall Musical
Performances for the Wizard of Oz, Youth Edition, will take place in the Edgewood Perfomance Gym on the following dates:
Thursday, November 7, at 7:00 pm
Friday, November 8, at 7:00 pm
Saturday, November 9, at 1:00 pm.
Tickets will be available at the doors before each of the performances. Ticket prices are $10/adults, $5/children, $20/family cap. We hope to see you there!

Activity Bus Routes
Regular school day buses leave Edgewood at 2:32 pm.
Activity/After-school routes leave Edgewood at 3:45 pm (Monday- Thursday).

GSA Club
Join us for GSA Club beginning on Wednesday, November 13, from 2:30-3:30 in Room 118. This group is for LGBTQ+ students and allies, and it's a ton of fun! We play games, get to know each other and talk about issues related to the LGBTQ+ community.
Mindful Movement Yoga Club
Join our fun and engaging yoga and mindfulness classes designed for kids! Through playful poses, imaginative games, and creative activities, children will learn to manage stress, enhance focus, and cultivate calm. Each session nurtures self-confidence, emotional resilience, and a positive mindset in a safe, supportive environment. Perfect for all levels, these classes help kids express themselves and connect mindfully with others. Discover the joy of yoga and watch your child thrive!
The Club runs on Wednesdays from October 23 - November 13 from 2:30 - 3:40 pm in the Library. Students must register through Community Ed here.
Collectible Card, RPG, & Strategy Games Club
Take strategy gaming to the next level! Play challenging and popular games like Catan, Pandemic, 7 Wonders, Splendor, Evolution, and Godsforge. Role Playing & Collectable Card Games are run by students. Playing games develops analysis, problem solving, communication, and negotiation skills and…it’s also great fun!
The club will run Mondays from November 4 - December 16 from 2:25- 3:40 pm in the Cafeteria.
Reduced Fees & Financial Assistance
Youth who are residing within the Mounds View Public Schools boundaries and currently qualify for educational benefits and/or free/reduced lunch may be eligible for reduced fees and partial scholarships to qualifying Enrichment & Activities programs. Financial support is provided by the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, District Community Education Scholarship fund and other community donors. Qualifying Enrichment and Activities will have a Financial Support/Educational Benefits fee rate that is 50% of the full fee for the program. OUR EYES ARE ON IRONDALE
Boys Swim and Dive Information Meeting
Irondale Boys Swim and Dive will have an athlete only information meeting on Tuesday, November 5, at 3:30 in the cafeteria. The meeting is for all athletes in 7th - 12th grade interested in swimming and diving. Coach Scott will be there to go over the season and answer any questions.
If you are unable to attend, but would still like information regarding the season, you can email Scott at irondaleswimcoach@gmail.com.
Alpine Ski
Do you love slalom ski racing or alpine skiing and are competitive and curious? The varsity alpine ski racing season is quickly approaching so it's time to start thinking about tuning your skis and hitting some gates. Middle School Consent Form for High School Activities
Seventh & eighth grade athletes that wish to participate on a high school team will also register online. Before you begin your online registration, approval must be obtained from the middle school principal or dean, the high school activities director, and coach. In addition, signatures from both student & parent/guardian are also required. You can get a copy of the middle school consent form in the front office or print out a copy.

The front office hours are Monday-Thursday from 6:45 am - 4:00 pm and Friday from 6:45 am - 2:45 pm.

Friendly Chromebook Reminders
Chromebooks are provided to each student to provide access to digital learning opportunities in class. Please remind your child(ren) of the following:
- Charge your chromebook each night so you're ready for school in the morning.
- Treat your chromebook with care. Chromebooks can be damaged if they are in your backpack and it gets tossed, thrown, or dropped.
- Keep chromebooks in a safe place at home.
- Chromebooks are to be used by the person they are assigned to. Please do not allow your siblings or friends to use your chromebook.
