Hello JJMS Families

We are on the homestretch!

Next week is going to be filled with fun events, starting with the 8th grade Moving Up Ceremony. It's a special moment to celebrate our hard work and look forward to high school. Plus, the 6th and 7th grade trips promise to be a blast, filled with adventure and lasting memories. These field trips are a great way to celebrate the end of another successful year together.

8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony

Today, rehearsal went off without a hitch! The students and faculty are ready and looking forward to Monday, June 24th’s ceremony. Below is a recap of Monday’s schedule. Below also includes a link where we will be streaming the Moving Up Ceremony if you have family members unable to attend.



  • 8:05 AM – Students will report to Homebase for attendance. 8th graders will be called down for the PTO Sponsored Breakfast.
  • 8:20 AM – PTO sponsored 8th Grade breakfast for the students.
  • 9:00 AM- Families can begin entering our school and finding seats in the gymnasium.
  • 9:30 AM – The Moving Up Ceremony will be in the JJMS gymnasium. Each student received three tickets. We still have families who are requesting additional tickets, if you do NOT need all three of your tickets, please have your child drop off the extras in the main office on Friday, 6/21.
  • For family members and friends who cannot attend the ceremony can watch here via Zoom. You may need to set up a Zoom account in order to access this link.

6th & 7th Grade Trips

6th & 7th grade trips are on Monday, 6/24, and all communication has been shared by the Team Leaders. Dismissal for 6th and 7th grade will be 2:48pm with a regular bus schedule.
