A Message from the Principals
Pine Brook Families,
What a whirlwind the first month of school has been! We are happy to share that last September in the 2023-2024 School Year, we had an attendance rate of 85% for the month of September. This year, we are VERY happy to report that our Pine Brook attendance rate is 94.5% for September!! Thanks to your partnership and commitment to your studentβs learning, this year has gotten off to an incredible start! When students miss less than 10% of school they are:
20% more likely to perform well in reading and math
Are 50% more likely to graduate on time
Have higher achievement in middle school and high school. Regular attendance in early grades can predict future academic success. Chronic absenteeism in kindergarten and first grade can lead to lower achievement in later grades.
Your Pine Brook Team is committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for all of our students. If your family is facing any challenges that are impacting attendance, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Social Worker, Danielle Binn who can be reached at danielle.binn@greececsd.org or (585) 966-4672.
Thank you for a great start to the 2024-2025 school year!
Go Bills,
Andrea & Allie

Who to Call With Questions is a Resource for Families
Building trust and ensuring that there are open lines of communication between home and school are essential for student success. We want to be sure you know who to contact with questions or concerns. In December, the district shared a new resource for families. In case you missed it, this linked Who to Call with Questions, Concerns and Compliments reference guide is a step-by-step guide families can use to ensure questions are answered quickly and effectively. Please refer to it whenever you need to speak to someone about your childβs progress. Whether your inquiry is about academics, safety, or services and supports, there are people at the school and district level who are ready to help whenever a question or concern arises.
For Step 1 concerns at Pine Brook, please start with the person closest to the situation. They should be able to help you navigate the situation. If the concern rises to a Step 2, please contact the Assistant Principal. For your convenience there is a list below of contacts at Pine Brook:
