Please help us with reducing germs by keeping your kiddos home if they are showing symptoms. We are doing a school wide SPIRIT DAY THIS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 20th - COMFY/PJ Day!!!! Let's kick off the break being comfy & cozy on Fri-Yay!

The St. Albans Recreation Department is offering discounted rates for 5 weeks of their summer camps to Maple Run Unified School District families, thanks to federal grant funds. These discounts apply to students attending Fairfield Center School, Bellows Free Academy, St Albans City School, or St. Albans Town Educational Center. Students qualifying for Free and Reduced Lunches may be eligible for a full scholarship for these 5 weeks.

Registration opens TODAY, Monday, December 16th at 10:00 AM at www.stalbansrec.com.

BFA St. Albans, is inviting you to join them for an evening full of fun and information on Tuesday, December 17 at 6:00 PM. Discover everything BFA has to offer as you prepare for high school, including their programs, courses, athletics, and more!

When? Tuesday December 17, 2024 @ 6PM

Where? Bellow Free Academy, Saint Albans.

What? The BFA Experience Event.

Our 6th-8th grade students gathered for their monthly Community Meeting to celebrate their hard work and the values they’ve created together. The middle school values are Perseverance, Helpful, Conscientious, Honesty, Optimistic, & Bravery.

Students receive shout-outs from teachers based on these values, earning tickets for each shout-out. At the end of the meeting, ten lucky students are drawn to win a community bag. Inside each bag are goodies but only one has a special gold coin that grants time in the Makerspace!

This month, the gold coin winner is Ali Talcott! Ali’s commitment to the school’s values & working hard earned her this exciting opportunity, and we can’t wait to see what she creates in the Makerspace.

Great job, Middle School! Keep up the amazing work!

6/7/8th first Ski Trip is TODAY!

Here is the letter that was sent home to families with students in grades 4 -8 with information about the Jay Peak Foundation Ski/Snowboard field trips! We are so fortunate to have this opportunity as a school!! A big shout out to our very own PE teacher, Tyler Cook, who does a lot to make it happen, along with all the teacher & parent chaperones, and of course the instructors at Jay Peak!

4th/5th Grade will be going to Jay Peak on the following Mondays: January 13th & March 10th.

6th/7th/8th Grades will be going to Jay Peak on the following Mondays: December 16th, February 3rd, March 24th & April 14th!

If you have a student that will be participating in the Jay Peak Foundation Trips please be on the lookout from their homeroom teachers regarding information about their Field Trips.
