November 2024
A Message From Principal Kilpatrick
Dear Highlander Families,
Happy November! What a fast and furious October it was! Our halls were filled with laughter, learning and many, many accomplishments and growth. We are excited about the progress we are already seeing in our students which stems from the dedication of our staff, students and community. Thank you!
Thank you for joining us for parent teacher conferences. I hope you found the opportunity to speak with your child's teacher regarding their academic progress helpful. Throughout the school year, feel free to reach out to your child's teacher should questions arise. If you haven't had the opportunity to conference, please do so. The school home connection is vital to student success.
A big thank you to our parents, extended family members and community partners for your support with our PTA fundraiser! Our APEX fun run was a huge success because of your generosity. The money raised will be used for educational programs and field trips. Thank you again!
With the hustle and bustle of the next couple of months, it is a great time to pause and reflect on gratitude. I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for all of the ways you support the McAndrew community. We are so grateful! We look forward to a wonderful rest of the year.
Vicki Kilpatrick, Principal
